Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to develop, execute, and manage social media and digital content for MedSirat and the organizations, businesses, and brands it supports, to strengthen their digital presence, visibility, and engagement with their target audiences., and support the organization’s communication and business objectives.
The role combines social media management, performance monitoring, and day-to-day coordination with the Communication Department and other internal teams.
Core Responsibilities
The position is responsible for:
- Planning and managing social media content calendars in line with MedSirat's communication strategy and priorities.
- Creating, adapting, and publishing high-quality written and visual content in Arabic, French, and English, including posts, carousels, stories, reels, and short-form videos.
- Managing MedSirat's social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, ensuring consistent and on-brand communication.
- Monitoring and engaging with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions professionally and in a timely manner.
- Researching relevant topics, trends, and content opportunities and translating them into engaging digital content.
- Supporting the promotion of MedSirat's programs, events, campaigns, and initiatives, including on-site content capture when required.
- Monitoring social media performance, preparing reports, and recommending improvements based on results.
- Coordinating with the Communication Department and internal teams to gather information and ensure content accuracy, consistency, and timely validation.

Required Qualifications
The position requires:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in social media management, content creation, digital communication, or a similar role.
- Technical skills: Strong knowledge of major social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook; proficiency in Canva and Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools; ability to create and adapt visual content for digital platforms.
- Languages: Excellent written and spoken Arabic, French, and English, with the ability to produce professional and audience-appropriate content in all three languages.
- Behavioral competencies: Creativity, strong writing and visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, organization, initiative, adaptability, teamwork, responsiveness, ability to work under supervision, and effective time management.
- Licenses / certifications: N/A.
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are considered an asset:
- Experience in communication, marketing, consulting, professional services, healthcare, education, training, or a related sector.
- Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Basic photography and video capture skills for social media and event coverage.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn analytics, or equivalent social media management and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of content marketing, SEO, or digital advertising principles.
Scope & Accountability
The role is accountable for the day-to-day execution and quality of MedSirat's social media content, community management, and related reporting. The position is expected to work autonomously within established communication and brand guidelines while escalating sensitive, reputational, medical, technical, or crisis-related matters to the Head of Communication.
Special Requirements
The position may require:
- Occasional availability outside standard hours for time-sensitive posts or event coverage
- On-site presence at events for photo/video content capture
- Discretion and confidentiality regarding internal and organizational communications
